On Wednesday 26th June 2019, the MP for Rochester and Strood attended a reception to congratulate the winners of Veolia’s Apprentice and Graduates of the Year Awards.
Amongst the nominees were Julie Dray and Megan Beckey who both work at the Veolia site on Medway City Estate. Supported at the event by their manager, Malcolm Blake, both employees were nominated for their commitment to learning and living Veolia’s values.
Kelly Tolhurst MP said: “Having held two Apprenticeship Fairs since becoming an MP, I am a huge supporter of apprenticeships and other vocational opportunities. It is great to recognise the hard work of local apprentices, like Julie and Megan, who have made a big contribution to their work with Veolia.”
“I wish them both every success in the future.”
