St James Church of England Primary Academy will receive Condition Improvement Funding from DfE
The Minister for the School System and Student Finance, Baroness Barran has informed me that St James Church of England Primary Academy has received funding from the Condition Improvement Fund (CIF).
The Condition Improvement Fund is an annual fund from the Government to eligible academies and colleges to apply for capital funding. The fund aims to address significant conditional need, and projects, also address issues with health and safety, building compliance and poor building condition.
The fund also aims to support Ofsted rated good or outstanding academies that want to increase their facilities to increase capacity or to address any overcrowding issues that they may have.
I am pleased that the Minister has confirmed that St James Church of England Primary Academy will be receiving funding from the Condition Improvement Fund, this money will go towards urgent boiler replacement works. Officials will now be making contact with the school to discuss the delivery and payment schedules.
Funds like the Condition Improvement Fund are crucial to ensuring that students are able to learn and receive their education in the best environments possible, allowing them to achieve their full potential.
This follows on from Government Condition Improvement Funding over the last few years for Brompton Westbrook Primary, Cliffe Woods Primary, Cuxton Comunity Infants School, Halling Primary School in
