Rochester and Strood MP Kelly Tolhurst has backed a local baby trauma & bereavement care charity’s new awareness and fundraising drive. Kelly met with Making Miracles Chief Executive Kelly Wells recently to discuss the recent success of the charity and their new fundraising initiatives.
The charity have recently published their first children's book 'The Baby' which is a rhyming book intended to support families that are suffering or have suffered with the loss of a baby. Written by children’s author Joseph Hopkins in collaboration with the charity, the book is intended to help families talk and provoke communication about this tough subject.
The charity are also selling Making Miracles Memorial Bears, an affordable and well-made teddy bear to keep precious memories and perhaps ashes. The bear is made from luxury super-soft fabrics with high quality detailing and finishes and is safe for all age groups to treasure.
Both the books and bears are available through https://makingmiracles.org.uk/ and Amazon. All profits go to ensuring Making Miracles can continue the services they provide free of charge for local families!
